This region is currently operated by ActozSoft (of the Shanda Games Group.) The website is accessible globally at ff14.co.kr however due to South Korea's laws you basically need live there to register for an account (because you have to give the company your ID.)
Launcher
This region does not use the usual launcher, including using it's own bespoke boot executables. Only the game folder structure is the same. The launcher calls into sqexPatch.dll to patch the game files.
The launcher was redone in 2019.
Oddities & Things to Explore
- For some reason their launch page(!?!) is indexed by search engines: https://newlauncher.ff14.co.kr/ (the Global Region sticks a noindex in theirs)
